Policy papers review session

Al-Nidal Society for Human Rights concluded the project to improve the conditions of small entrepreneurial projects with a session to review policy papers, where it presented two specialized papers in addressing the economic and social problems of youth, specifically in the entrepreneurial and small enterprise sector.
The first paper prepared by researcher Zaher Rabie, entitled “Business incubators and their role in developing emerging and entrepreneurial businesses,” is concerned with addressing technical and economic problems.
The second paper prepared by lawyer Mustafa Qusay, entitled “Legal Challenges for Small Projects in Iraq,” focuses on addressing the legal and legislative gaps that regulate the work of small and entrepreneurial projects.
The two papers were prepared for the “Voices of Youth Project 2 – Project for Improving the Conditions of Entrepreneurial Projects and Organizing them,” which is implemented by Al-Nidal Society for Human Rights with the support of the Iraqi Al-Amal Society.
The project aims to establish a legal framework that facilitates the procedures for registering and organizing entrepreneurial and small projects to address the economic and social problems of youth. The project relies on participatory paths in which civil society cooperates with the government sector and stakeholders by researching problems and challenges and proposing solutions and policies.
Al-Nidal Society for Human Rights implements these activities in cooperation with the Iraqi Al-Amal Society and government partners, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Baghdad Governorate Office.
