A seminar on digital protection and awareness of electronic extortion

Al-Nidal Association held a symposium on digital protection and awareness of electronic blackmail, in cooperation with the Bureau of Endowments for the Christian, Yazidi, and Sabian-Mandaean Religions/Citizens Affairs Division – Human Rights Division, on December 13, 2022, at the Bureau’s headquarters in the capital, Baghdad, for a group of Bureau employees. The symposium covered a set of tips and instructions regarding protection from blackmail, how to maintain the work environment electronically, learning about electronic control procedures, talking about strong passwords, and also knowing the legal frameworks regarding the issue of digital rights.
At the conclusion of the symposium, Al-Nidal was honored with a certificate of thanks and appreciation presented by the Director General of Christian Affairs, Father Martin Hermez, in which he thanked the association’s workers for their efforts in presenting this symposium, and it was agreed to repeat such seminars and workshops that would increase awareness in society.
