Minorities in Iraq: “The Yazidis as a model”

Al-Nidal Association held a dialogue session entitled The situation of minorities in Iraq: “The Yazidis as a model”
Within the program of the seventh season of the Iraqi Social Forum in the halls of the Baghdad Academy for Humanities on Friday, December 16, 2022.

The session covered many topics, including:
• Introducing the Yazidis, their language, and the areas of their population.
• Yazidis have been the most targeted by D1ish since 2014.
• The suffering of displacement and deportation.
• Helping to achieve the safe return of Yazidis to their areas of residence.
The session ended with a set of recommendations and possible opportunities for their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
