“Al-Amal issues a forensic evidence guide to empower and protect defenders”
This guide deals with the collection of forensic evidence and evidentiary evidence that relates to the work of male and female human rights defenders and civil society. The guide includes a clear explanation of that evidence and some realistic examples, in addition to a package of instructions and advice that will empower and protect actors in the field of defending human rights in line with International standards, frameworks, and national laws guaranteeing freedoms and rights.
This guide was prepared by our colleague (Ali Mahmoud Abbas) and a group of defenders from the Al-Nidal Association for Human Rights. This guide was written and printed as one of several initiatives launched by the Program for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders, which is implemented by the Iraqi Al-Amal Association and funded by the European Union.
